Buckwheat Porridge (Raw)
1/3 c. buckwheat groats, soaked overnight
1 ripe banana
2 Tbsp. agave, honey or maple syrup
1 tsp. coriander
1⁄4 tsp. cardamom
1⁄4 c. raisins (more or less to taste)
1⁄2 medium sized apple, chopped
2 Tbsp. chopped pecans
- Rinse the buckwheat groats in water, then place in the food processor with the banana coriander and cardamom.
- Process until the groats have all just began to break apart. Don’t over process or you’ll lose that nice porridge consistency.
- Place in a serving bowl and top with the chopped apples, raisins and pecans.
- Pour a small amount of almond milk.
